The Kitchen Garden café based in Kings heath… Is the haven for the best acoustic music that specialise around Country and Folk, Hosting performances from many talented singers and songwriters, every Sunday to Thursday evenings.

Thursday 11th April – Alex Rex will be performing the new album Otterburn, reuniting Alex with two of his former band members from Trembling Bells. An accomplished drummer and singer who draws from Jazz and the darker side of folk music.
Tickets £10, Doors open 7:30 to start at 8pm.

Thursday 18th April – Amber Cross will be performing, she released her debut album ‘You Can Come In’ in 2013. Country Music People gave her album a 5 star review saying “every now and then a debut CD arrives and you know about 30 seconds in that you are experiencing something a bit special”. Tickets £10, Doors open 7:30 to start at 8pm

Sunday 21st April – Gilmore and Roberts are performing their 5th studio album ‘A Problem Of Our Kind’ as a folk acoustic duo that hold trademark harmonies. Receiving glowing reviews and one from RnR magazine saying, “perfectly judged, an album that will take some beating come voting time”.
Tickets £12, Doors open 7:30 to start at 8pm.

Thursday 25th April – Blue Country welcome you to their performance of their billboard country hits and their iconic singles Good Little Girls and That’s Cool. The duo has also toured with Country stars such Rascal Flatts, Sugarland, Keith Urban and Tim McGraw.
Tickets are £12, Doors open 7:30 to start at 8pm.

02 Institute Diary Dates –

The 02 Institute also have popular country artist’s that are set to perform within the upcoming months, you can check these out and get tickets online on the 02 website… www.academymusicgroup.com
The country acts that are performing at the 02 are well – known in the BHBN Top 20 Country Countdown.

Then on Friday 3rd of May- Lanco, an all-male country group are set to perform with their popular hits, such as Greatest Love Story.

On the Thursday the 30th of May a real pop country treat from the talented Maren Morris. The young country singer is to tour the UK, with supporting country singers and, also beloved friends, Rae-Lynn and Cassadee Pope, who also have new music released.

On Tuesday 15th October Old Dominion will be at the 02 with their Make It Sweet Tour along with Jordan Davis who will be supporting. The country group are currently at number 6 this week with their popular single Make It Sweet.

On Thursday 24th October Charles Esten will be coming to the UK to perform at the 02 institute. Charles Esten is best known for his character of Country star Deacon in the tv series Nashville. So, if you enjoyed singing along with Deacon in the hit show Nashville, Join Charles Esten at the 02.

Also, Country super star Carrie Underwood will be touring the UK, talented country singer is well known in the country countdown chart and has achieved many hit songs such as Before he cheats, Church Bells and Love Wins, as well as collaborating with many other artists such as Keith Urban in the popular song ‘The Fighter’ and also sang along with Miranda Lambert on the hit song ‘Something Bad’. This is a very exciting event for all country fans with performances in 5 well known UK arenas. The UK tour dates announced are as below:

Birmingham, Resorts World Arena – Friday 28th June
Motorpoint Arena, Cardiff – Sunday 30th June
The SSE Hydro, Glasgow – Tuesday 2nd July
Manchester Arena, Manchester – Wednesday 3rd July
The SSE Arena Wembley, London – Thursday 4th July
