BHBN broadcast its first
CBSO (City of Birmingham
Symphony Orchestra)
concert back in 1960.
Since then patients have
been able to tune in to
regular visits first of
all to the Town Hall and
now Symphony Hall.
The orchestra performs a wide range of music throughout the year from the great classical works to film music and musicals. We often join the audience live on a Friday evening for the light music events as well as special Christmas and New Year concerts.
We are grateful to the orchestra and the many soloists and conductors who have shared their music making live on BHBN for more than fifty years.
